“I realized it wasn’t just about losing weight. I truly needed to work on my mind.” Before starting The 15 Day Challenge, Fledora Prince struggled to prioritize herself. “I was so busy taking care of everyone else that I forgot to take care of myself.”
Prince served in the Navy until 2014. Now retired and living in Guam, she has struggled to find ways to maintain her health. “Living in a new climate has reduced my opportunities to walk outside, and we are down one vehicle, so I don’t always have access to a gym.” Despite facing obstacles in her new environment, Prince adjusted her living space to make room for home workouts, drank more water, and incorporated more movement into her routine. “I am making daily lifestyle changes.”
“I now know what it means to be committed and put myself first.” Prince claimed that moving overseas awakened her, helping her realize the importance of her own growth. “I feel healthier, and I believe that more movement has improved my flexibility. I’ve gained a spirit of being consistent to reach my goals in life.”
